This TDOV, let's say it together, "Transgender Rights Are Human Rights!"
Learn how to show up for the transgender & nonbinary people in your life.
Happy Transgender Day of Visibility! Today we celebrate the significant contributions and successes of transgender and nonbinary people.
We also have the opportunity to consider the many different ways we can show up for the transgender & nonbinary people in our lives.
With nearly 500 anti-transgender bills actively being considered in states across the country, there is work ahead, and you can play a critical role.
A Threat to Human Rights
If enacted into law, these bills will block trans people from accessing healthcare, education, public accommodations, and participating in sports.
The majority of these bills threaten the health and well-being of transgender and nonbinary children, the future of our workforce.
Yesterday, Dr. Lulu, a board-certified pediatrician, detailed the harm these bills can cause, and offered ways to oppose them during this livestream.
Your Role
On TDOV, and throughout the rest of the year, you can play a critical role that will make a world of difference for your trans colleagues.
